"INTELLISHIELD" heavy-duty radiant barrier foil was the first product ever developed by CSG. When stapled to the underside of the roof rafters in your attic or layed directly over your insulation you will see a noticeable reduction in your energy consumption while increasing your homes overall comfort level. "INTELLISHIELD" heavy-duty radiant barrier foli is a highly reflective double sided aluminized reinforced polyester film that reflects 95% of radiant heat taking your house out of the sun and providing shading by acting as a thermal barrier. For the Apollo program NASA helped develop a thin aluminum metalized film which reflected 95% of the radiant heat. Metalized film was used to protect spacecraft, equipment and astronaut from thermal radiation in the extreme temperature fluctuations of space. Radiant barrier was inducted into the Space Technology hall of Fame in 1996. "INTELLISHIELD" heavy duty radiant barrier has received dual Class A fire ratings for both ASTM E84 and the newest E2599 mounting method testing standards.
